About JAIIB Examination
The Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (JAIIB) exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF).
It is one of the most popular professional certification exams for banking professionals in India.
The JAIIB exam is conducted twice every year, in May and November.
Important Dates – May 2026
Registration for the JAIIB May 2026 exam will remain open from February 2, 2026 to February 22, 2026.
The admit card is expected to be released in the last week of April 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
The JAIIB examination is generally open to banking professionals who are members of IIBF.
Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements as prescribed by IIBF.

How to Apply for JAIIB May 2026
Applications for the JAIIB exam are accepted online only.
Candidates need to visit the official website: iibf.org.in
Those who are not IIBF members must first complete the membership registration process.
After obtaining membership, candidates can fill out the JAIIB exam application form during the registration period.
JAIIB Exam Fees (For IIBF Members)
The examination fee for the first attempt is ₹4,000.
For the 2nd to 5th attempt, the fee is ₹1,300 per attempt.
Late Fee Structure
February 2 to February 8, 2026 – Normal examination fee.
February 9 to February 15, 2026 – Normal fee plus ₹100.
February 16 to February 22, 2026 – Normal fee plus ₹200.
Exam Pattern & Subjects
The JAIIB exam consists of four compulsory papers.
The questions are generally objective in nature.
